Article 1 – Processing and shipping

Carder Essentials processes orders as quickly as possible from the Netherlands.

Our normal processing time is no more than 1 business day, except for pre-orders, products for which a different shipping date is stated, and exceptional circumstances as described in this Shipping Policy.

Orders are processed and shipped on business days.

For the purposes of this Shipping Policy, business days are Monday through Friday, excluding official public holidays in the Netherlands.

Once an order has been shipped, the customer will receive a shipping confirmation containing Track & Trace information at the email address provided with the order.

Article 2 – Orders placed before 17:00

Orders placed on a business day before 17:00 Netherlands time and for which payment has been successfully processed will, in principle, be shipped on the same business day.

The applicable time is the local time in the Netherlands, i.e. the time zone applicable in Amsterdam.

Orders placed on a business day after 17:00 will, in principle, be processed and shipped no later than the next business day.

Orders placed during the weekend or on a Dutch public holiday will be processed from the next business day.

The commitment in this Article concerns the time at which Carder Essentials hands the order over for shipment and is not a guarantee that the parcel will be delivered on the same day or the following day.

A different shipping date may apply to, among other things:

  • pre-orders;
  • products that are temporarily not immediately available;
  • products for which a specific shipping or release date is stated in advance.

Article 3 – Delivery times

The actual delivery time depends on:

  • the destination country;
  • the selected or available carrier;
  • local delivery services;
  • weekends and public holidays;
  • carrier volumes;
  • and, for international shipments, possible customs clearance.

Carder Essentials therefore does not provide a general guaranteed delivery time for every destination.

Where available, an estimated delivery date or indicative delivery time may be displayed during checkout or by the carrier.

A delivery date displayed by a carrier is generally an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery date, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Once a parcel has been shipped by us, its current progress can be followed via the Track & Trace link.

Any statutory consumer rights relating to late delivery always remain applicable.

Article 4 – Free worldwide shipping

Carder Essentials offers free standard shipping on every order, to every destination available during checkout.

There is no minimum order value. Free shipping applies regardless of the number of products ordered and regardless of any discounts applied.

Shipping costs are shown as €0 during checkout, before the customer places the order definitively.

Free shipping covers the standard shipping method offered by Carder Essentials for the destination concerned. Where an optional faster or alternative shipping method is offered, any additional cost of that method will be clearly shown during checkout before the order is placed.

Free shipping applies to the first shipment of an order. Costs relating to a second shipment, for example after a parcel has been returned to us because of an incorrect address provided by the customer or because a parcel was not collected in time, are covered by Articles 11 and 15.

Any costs imposed after import by customs, the carrier or local authorities in the destination country are not covered by free shipping. See Article 8.

Article 5 – Track & Trace

Every order shipped by Carder Essentials will be provided with Track & Trace, insofar as supported by the shipping service used.

After the order has been shipped, the customer will automatically receive an email containing the available tracking information.

After receiving the shipping confirmation, it may take some time before the first scan or status update becomes visible with the carrier.

The carrier's tracking information provides the most up-to-date information available regarding the shipment.

If Track & Trace does not show an update for an extended period or indicates that a parcel may have been lost, the customer may contact us at:

support@carder-essentials.com

Article 6 – Carriers

Carder Essentials uses, among others, PostNL and DHL for shipping.

Depending on the destination, a shipment may be handed over upon arrival in the destination country to a local delivery partner of PostNL, DHL or another logistics partner.

The available carrier and shipping method may vary by country or region.

Carder Essentials may use another suitable carrier where this is necessary for the proper fulfilment of the order.

Article 7 – International shipping

Carder Essentials ships orders worldwide to destinations available during checkout.

If a country or destination can be selected during checkout and a shipping method is offered, shipping to that destination is generally possible.

The free shipping described in Article 4 applies to all these destinations, including destinations outside the European Union.

International orders may be subject to longer transit times than orders within the Netherlands.

International shipments may be subject to:

  • customs inspections;
  • import procedures;
  • local taxes;
  • local delivery partners;
  • security checks;
  • or other procedures in the destination country.

Carder Essentials cannot ship an order where shipment to a particular destination is prohibited by law or where no suitable shipping option is available.

Article 8 – Customs, import duties and taxes

Orders shipped to a destination outside the European Union may be subject to additional charges imposed by the destination country.

These may include:

  • import duties;
  • local VAT or other taxes;
  • customs clearance fees;
  • carrier administration fees;
  • other charges imposed by local authorities.

Free shipping as described in Article 4 covers the transport of the order only. It does not cover charges imposed by the destination country.

Unless it is expressly stated during checkout that such charges are already included, these costs are payable by the recipient.

Carder Essentials does not control the amount charged by local authorities or carriers in every country.

The customer is responsible for complying with applicable local import obligations and for providing any information reasonably requested by local customs authorities.

Carder Essentials is not responsible for delays caused solely by customs inspections or local import procedures beyond Carder Essentials' reasonable control.

This Article does not limit any mandatory statutory consumer rights relating to delivery of the order.

Article 9 – Pre-orders and products with a later shipping date

Carder Essentials may offer products as pre-orders or with a later announced availability or release date.

For such products, the product page or surrounding information will clearly indicate when the product is expected to become available or from which date shipping is expected to commence.

For a pre-order, normal shipping times begin from:

  • the announced release or drop date;
  • the shipping date stated on the product page;
  • or the time at which the product becomes available again according to the information provided in advance.

Once a pre-order is available, the same processing rules generally apply as for normal orders.

This means that an available pre-order that becomes ready for shipment on a business day before 17:00 will, where practically possible, be shipped on the same business day. Otherwise, it will be processed no later than the next business day.

The date stated for a pre-order may be an estimated date where this is expressly indicated.

If the expected availability date changes significantly, Carder Essentials will, where reasonably possible, inform the customer of the delay.

Statutory consumer rights relating to delayed delivery remain applicable.

Article 10 – Orders containing multiple products

Carder Essentials generally ships products from one order together in a single shipment.

If one order contains both immediately available products and a pre-order or a product with a later shipping date, the entire order will generally be shipped once all products are available.

As a result, shipment of immediately available items may be delayed until the pre-order product becomes available.

If Carder Essentials decides for logistical reasons to ship an order in multiple parcels, no additional shipping costs will be charged to the customer.

If an order is shipped in multiple parcels, the customer may receive multiple Track & Trace codes.

Article 11 – Address changes and incorrect addresses

Changing an address before shipment

A delivery address may be changed free of charge as long as the order has not yet been shipped and the change can still be processed operationally.

Please contact us as soon as possible at:

support@carder-essentials.com

Please include the order number and the complete correct delivery address.

Once a parcel has been shipped, Carder Essentials cannot guarantee that an address change will still be possible.

Incorrect address

The customer is responsible for checking that the address details entered with the order are correct.

If an order cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer and is returned to Carder Essentials, the actual additional shipping costs incurred may be charged to the customer, insofar as permitted by law.

If the customer still wishes to receive the product, the actual cost of reshipping may be charged. The free shipping described in Article 4 applies to the first shipment of an order.

If the address error was caused by Carder Essentials, necessary additional shipping costs will of course not be charged to the customer.

Article 12 – Delayed shipments

Although we ship orders as quickly as possible, delays may occur after a parcel has been handed over to the carrier.

Possible causes include:

  • exceptional carrier volumes;
  • severe weather;
  • strikes;
  • technical disruptions;
  • transportation issues;
  • customs clearance;
  • local delivery problems;
  • government measures.

A carrier delay does not automatically mean that a parcel has been lost.

If an order has been in transit for an unusually long time, the customer may contact Carder Essentials.

Where necessary, we will contact the carrier and investigate the shipment.

Any statutory consumer rights relating to an order that has not been delivered or has been delivered late remain applicable.

Article 13 – Missing parcels

If Track & Trace indicates that a parcel is not arriving or has shown no progress for an unusually long period, please contact us at:

support@carder-essentials.com

Please include the order number.

Where necessary, Carder Essentials will initiate an investigation with PostNL, DHL or the relevant logistics partner.

Where a consumer uses a shipping method offered by Carder Essentials, Carder Essentials remains responsible for the order under applicable consumer law until it has been delivered to the consumer or to a recipient designated by the consumer.

We will therefore not simply refer a customer with a missing shipment to the carrier to resolve the issue independently.

If an investigation shows that a parcel has actually been lost during shipment, Carder Essentials will provide an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable statutory rights, for example replacement or a refund.

Article 14 – Damaged shipments

Please inspect the parcel and product as soon as possible after receipt.

If the parcel or product was damaged during transport, please contact us as soon as possible at:

support@carder-essentials.com

Where possible, please provide:

  • the order number;
  • photographs of the outside of the parcel;
  • photographs of any damage to the packaging;
  • a photograph showing the shipping label;
  • photographs or videos of the damaged product.

Please retain the packaging and shipping materials until the report has been handled, as this information may be required for an investigation with the carrier.

Providing photographs helps us investigate the issue more quickly, but does not limit the consumer's statutory rights.

If the product was damaged during transport before delivery to the consumer, Carder Essentials will provide an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Article 15 – Uncollected or refused parcels

The customer is responsible for collecting a parcel in time when the carrier delivers it to a service point or collection location.

If a parcel is not collected in time and is therefore automatically returned to Carder Essentials, the actual additional shipping and return costs incurred may be charged to the customer, insofar as permitted by law. This applies even though the original shipment was offered free of charge.

If the customer wishes to have the parcel resent, the actual cost of the new shipment may be charged.

The same may apply if a customer refuses a parcel at the door without a valid prior reason and this results in additional transport costs.

Carder Essentials does not charge a separate administration fee or restocking fee for this.

Merely refusing or failing to collect a parcel does not automatically constitute a valid withdrawal statement. A consumer who wishes to exercise the statutory right of withdrawal must communicate this in a legally valid manner.

If a parcel was not properly offered for delivery due to an error by Carder Essentials or the carrier, these additional costs will not be charged to the customer.

Article 16 – Insured shipping

Outgoing Carder Essentials orders are shipped with insurance in accordance with the terms and coverage of the shipping service used by us.

Any shipment insurance is an arrangement between Carder Essentials and the relevant carrier and does not affect the consumer's statutory rights.

If a parcel is lost or damaged during transport, Carder Essentials handles the claim with the carrier engaged by us.

In the case of a normal delivery arranged by Carder Essentials, the customer does not need to file an insurance claim personally with PostNL or DHL in order to exercise his or her statutory rights against Carder Essentials.

Article 17 – Public holidays and exceptional circumstances

Carder Essentials processes normal orders on business days and not on official Dutch public holidays.

During busy periods such as:

  • public holidays;
  • product drops;
  • promotions;
  • Black Friday;
  • or other exceptionally busy sales periods,

processing or delivery may take longer than usual.

If we know in advance that a product has a different processing time, we will try to state this clearly on the website or product page.

Carder Essentials is not liable for delays caused solely by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, insofar as such a limitation is permitted by law.

Mandatory consumer rights relating to delivery and termination always remain applicable.
